Jak pewnie większość fanów wie - Shawn poinformował nas że 23 września ukaże się jego druga płyta - Illuminate. Promują ją single : Treat You Better, Ruin oraz Three Empty Words. Jestem z Shawna mega dumna, bo płyty innych artystów często okazują się w odstępie 2-3 lat, a on zaskoczył nas po 1,5 roku. Podobnie jak "Handwritten" płyta ma 2 wersje okładek. Powyżej jednak nie opublikowałam okładki, tylko zdjęcie które urzekło mnie całkowicie.
Zmiana klimatu?
Jak zauważyłam z moimi koleżankami z fandomu - piosenki Shawna z poprzedniej płyty różnią się. W sumie to normalne, bo przecież inne piosenki, ale nie o to chodzi. Są dojrzalsze. Kwestia wieku? Ja uważam, że jest to spowodowane większymi doświadczeniami życiowymi. Z tego też jestem dumna. Że Shawn idzie do przodu i pokazuje nam coraz więcej siebie.

Kocham Handwritten z całego serca i jestem pewna, że Illuminate również mnie zachwyci *-* Treat you better to po prostu sztos - teledysk jest wspaniały (nie tylko ze względu na klatę Shawna, ale w dużym stopniu xp) jak również piosenka, jej tekst, melodia. Mendes ma talent i jest to niepodważalne <3
